Calathea Ornata

This Calathea variety has absolutely stunning leaves with deep pink veins running through the large, dark leaves. Of the many stunning varieties of Calathea, this is perhaps one of the most striking. Calatheas will open their leaves with the morning sun, and close them again at night - you can sometimes even hear them rustling! 
Best kept in a bright, humid spot away from direct sun. Water frequently to keep the soil moist but not soggy. If using tap water it is best to leave it to stand for a couple of hours before using.
