Caladium 'Miss Muffet'
Caladium 'Miss Muffet' is a striking plant which displays pale lime green leaves speckled with hot pink splashes and pastel pink veins. The texture of the leaves resembles tissue paper, and looks almost translucent in some lights.
Native to Central and South America, this plant likes it warm and humid, and is best grown away from draughts and radiators where air can become cold and/or dry. Due to the thin leaves, we advise keeping your Caladiums out of direct light and instead give them bright, indirect light. Water when top soil is dry and keep consistently moist.
We don't recommend this plant to those with cold homes all year round, and it may become harder to care for if you are a forgetful waterer. However, if you able to keep it warm and well-watered, this is a brilliant whimsical addition to your houseplant collection, that is sure to bring a smile to your face!
These are likely to die back when temperatures drop below 20ºC consistently, but they can grow back each Spring if the bulb is taken care of during the Winter.
