Epipremnum pinnatum ‘Cebu Blue’ is a striking variety with a slightly different look to your classic Devil’s Ivy. Its elongated, silvery-blue leaves and subtle shimmer make it a standout addition to any plant collection, especially if you’re after something a little unusual but still easy to care for.

Native to the Philippines, Cebu Blue is a fast-growing vining plant that can either trail or climb, and will reward you with lush growth in bright, indirect light. As it matures, the leaves can develop deep splits known as fenestrations, especially when grown up a support like a moss pole.

Just like its relatives, it’s straightforward to propagate, so one plant can go a long way.

  • Lighting: Bright light is best, but can tolerate lower light. Avoid direct sun. North or near an East or West facing window
  • Watering: Water once top few inches of soil are dry. Very forgiving of under watering.
  • Humidity: Can tolerate all humidity levels, but average household humidity will suit.
  • Temperature: Temperatures of 18-24°C are best, but can tolerate short periods of colder temperatures.
  • Soil Preference: A loose and airy mixture to support the thick root system. We recommend the Monstera & Philodendron mix.
  • Good to Know: If you want the mature leaves to fenestrate (develop small holes in the leaves), then increase the light.
