How to care for Alocasia Dragon Scale Mint

• Lighting: Enjoys bright, filtered light. Near East or West facing windows or under grow lights. Direct sun will scorch the leaves. Not enough light and the variegation will fade.
• Watering: Doesn't like waterlogged soil, but enjoys consistent moisture. Water thoroughly once top soil is dry.
• Humidity: Enjoys high humidity, will thrive best in greenhouse or terrarium conditions. Avoid placing too close radiators and draughts.
• Temperature: Alocasias thrive in warmer temperatures of around 18-27°C. Never let it drop below 13ºC.
• Soil Preference: For a rare Alocasia like this one, we would suggests a soilless medium, like Semi-Hydro or Sphagnum Moss.
• Good to Know: When repotting Alocasias, always look for corms in the potting medium. These can be split from the mother plant and will give you more Alocasias.
