Hoya Carnosa Tricolor
Hoya Carnosa Tricolor is a great beginner for those thinking about growing Hoyas. With waxy succulent leaves displaying pops of cream, pink and green, growing from a succulent hot pink stem, this is a plant that's happy to trail, or climb on a trellis, and once matured will push out clusters of fuzzy pink flowers, called peduncles. Hoya blooms can sometimes smell funky, but this variety is known to smell of honey or chocolate!
The Tricolor is a cultivar, not a species, meaning it doesn't have a natural place of origin. However, the Hoya Carnosa species can be found growing in parts of Southeast Asia.
Hoyas don't like to sit in water, but do enjoy a humidity boost. If you want your Hoya to bloom more frequently, we recommend consistent feeding in the growing seasons, with a couple of hours direct light each day.
Perfect for a sunny window or shelf, this hoya adds vibrancy and colour to any houseplant collection.
