How to care for Hoya 'Sarawak Cream'

  • Lighting: Bright, indirect light is best, with a couple hours of gentle direct sun for more splashing on leaves. East or West facing windowsills, near South-facing, or under grow lights.
  • Watering: Water once half of soil has dried.
  • Humidity: Thrives in humidity of 50% above, but can tolerate average household humidity.
  • Temperature: Ideal temperatures range between 18-26°C. Avoid temperatures of 13°C or below.
  • Soil Preference: To suit their epiphytic nature, Hoyas need a loose and chunky mix. We recommend the Anthurium & Orchid mix.
  • Good to Know: Hoyas are energy hoarders and only grow if they have excess energy. If you're Hoya is slow growing, chances are it needs more light and/or nutrients.
