Intro to Propagation
Wanting to learn how to take cuttings of your plants? It can be daunting to give our plants a trim, but propagation promotes bushier growth and gives you more plants to grow and share. Perhaps your plants are getting a little too big for the spot they're in and you want to give them a haircut; or you've got a friend eyeing up a plant of yours and you want to share it with them; or you just want to learn a cheap and easy way to get more plants!
This interactive session will teach you all the basics to propagation, so you can tackle yours at home. We will go through different techniques using a variety of substrates, whilst learning about plant structures and what to look out for when understanding how a plant grows and how it can be multiplied.
By the end of this session you will understand how to propagate and identify which plants need what. You will also leave with a selection of new propagations that we will be doing throughout the workshop, and the knowledge of how to look after them.
