If you love pink plants, then the Hoya 'Flamingo Dream' is a plant for you. This Hoya is a cultivar of the classic Hoya 'Krimson Queen' which became popular for its striking white variegation. This mutated version of that classic, boasts deeper pinks and reds on the new growth which stay brighter for longer, with less white on the leaves overall. The pinks don't stop there, as when it blooms, it produces clusters of pink, fuzzy flowers which smell like honey!

Although it's a slightly more flamboyant Hoya than the 'Krimson Queen' it originates from, the care is just as simple. The 'Flamingo Dream' enjoys bright light (with a couple hours of gentle direct if you can), a chunky soil mix and a generous watering once the soil is dry. If you want it to flower, feed regularly in the growing season and make sure it's receiving lots of light.
