'Schumi Red' is a wonderfully vibrant variety of Peperomia, displaying bright rhubarb pink leaves and stems, brushed with bronze iridescence. In some light, these semi-succulent leaves, can look anywhere from bright red to rose gold.

Native to South America, more specifically Brazil, the 'Schumi Red' is a low growing and compact plant, which is best kept in warm, humid conditions to replicate its natural habitat. When grown indoors, this peperomia thrives in bright, indirect light and medium to high humidity. As these plants are compact, too much water at their base can lead to rot, so always making sure the top soil id completely dry before watering is a must. Bottom watering makes caring for compact peperomias easier.

If you're someone who loves unusual colours and textures, or are looking for a new pet safe plant, the Peperomia 'Schumi Red' is sure to brighten up any space and add intrigue to any collection.
