Sansevieria Kirkii 'Coppertone'
The familiar toughness of a Snake Plant, with an unusual metallic twist. The ‘Coppertone’ is a striking houseplant, loved for its unusual colouring, crinkled leaves and for being very very hardy.
Sansevieria grow thick, rigid leaves from the base of the plant. This particular variety has slightly inward-curved mottled leaves that form a compact, star-shaped crown and burst outward. In good light, their green patterning takes on a beautiful coppery tone, hence the name.
Like other Snake Plants, ‘Coppertone’ doesn’t need much fuss to do well in your home. Let the soil dry out completely between waterings, then water thoroughly, these plants hate being waterlogged. It can tolerate lower light, but a spot with bright, indirect light will bring out its best colour and its fastest growth.
