Schefflera Arboricola 'Nora'
The 'Nora' is a cultivar of the popular houseplant genus Schefflera, also known as the Umbrella Plant. Native to tropical and subtropical regions of Taiwan and the Hainan Province in China, this is an upward growing plant which can turn into a shrub or small tree. This bright green variety produces palmate leaves with 7-9 leaflets, which are thick and leathery in texture.
Schefflera is an easy-care plant for keen growers and novices alike. Although it is very resilient and forgiving, it truly shines when cared for consistently, as it can quickly become a statement plant.
Water your Schefflera thoroughly but only once the pot is about halfway dry. Give them lots of bright light, or some gentle direct. Humidity is a bonus but these plants can tolerate slightly lower levels of 40%. We recommend repotting every 1-2 years to ensure consistent and quick growth. Feed with a gentle houseplant fertiliser in the growing season.
