Spathiphyllum Diamond
The Spathiphyllum 'Diamond' is like your classic Peace Lily, with a little extra something going on. If you're a fan of its easy-going cousin, then maybe you would like to try your hand at this variegated variety. We can still expect large glossy green leaves that we know so well, but this time with some white marbling variegation thrown in too.
The 'Diamond' is a variegated variety, but that doesn't mean the care is any less simple. Originating from South America, particularly in Columbia and Venezuela, this plant is used to the dappled light of an crowded canopy and the warm humidity of the tropical rainforest. Indoors, avoid direct sun, placing away from a window or by a north-facing one, water when it starts to droop, and avoid places where the air is dry and cold. If you notice the leaves loose their white variegation, this may be a sign it needs a little more light.
If you love the classic Peace Lily, or you're a fan a bushy and large-leaves plant, then we think you'll love this 'Diamond'. Great for beginners and those experienced growers alike.
